Backgammon Festival in Spain - Postponed

The Neil Davidson's Festival of Backgammon and Games, which was planned to take place between May 31 and June 7, 2008 at Cortijo Salinas, Andalucia 1st National Partk, Spain has been postponed. The new date and location to be announced. The backgammon festival was postponed for technical reasons.

Neil Davidson, the co-organizer of the Festival of Backgammon and Games (along with Mike Main and Chrissie, Jo & Dod Davies and Paul and Ursula Money), has announced the postponing of the event to unknown date. In a newsletter sent to his "backgammon friends" and appeared at the Backgammon in London website, Neil explained the reasoning behind to the postponing decision.

As described in Neil's letter, they had to withdraw their agreement with the hotel and therefore, look for an alternative date and location. That because the hotel management has not kept its agreement to reserve the hotel exclusively for the Festival of Backgammon and Games throughout the entire week.
